Why JoyMux exists

People want to run more AI coding agents. Their local machine — especially a Mac — gets overloaded: RAM spikes, context gets duplicated, terminals pile up, crashes wipe progress, and token costs explode.

Most tools focus on the agents. Almost nobody focuses on controlling the machine underneath them.

Joy ran many agents every day. Her Mac kept struggling. Buying another machine would have papered over the problem. She built JoyMux as the local control layer: shape context, cut wasted tokens, hard-reset to the same state when a run crashes.

Same Mac. Higher workload. Calmer system.
